Show THREE DAYS OF COURT The first aession of district court created but a small dent in the busy life i of the Dale this week as but three days j were consumed in the vending of just- 'ce at the hands of Judge Christenson. It was early learned that there would be nothing doing for a jury and so all were excused from service. J. Newman, the colored gentleman from Mohrland, dicided to plead guilty and was escorted to the state prison yesterday by Sheriff Sitterud to serve ' an indeterminate sentence of from six ; months to three years. ' The case against Andrew Petersen, ' accused of perjury. alleged to have been; committed in taking the impecunious 1 oath in Salt Lake was dismissed, on recommendation re-commendation of District Attorney Cherry, it being that gentleman's idea that this court had no jurisdiction over an offense committed in Salt Lake county.
