Of those, which include homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, larceny and auto theft, lawmen cleared 3,902 The statistics show that officers handled 98,696 calls in 1976 and the majority oi f those came on Fridays between 4 p,m and 8 pm. One Less Homicide There was one less homicide in 1976 with 12 reported compared to 13 in 1975 Rapes totalled 101 for both years Robberies were down by 16 7 per cent. There were 483 reported in 1976 and 583 for the previous year.
