Price Ck Special to The Tribune HURRICANE, Washington County Title to one of the first projects ever financed out of the Utah Water Construction Revolving Fund passed to owners Friday in a brief ceremony in Hurricane. The Baker Dam and Reservoir was built in 1951 on the Santa Clara River 20 miles north of St. George. The $100,000 project received an $85,608 loan from the state. Since that time, the Baker Reservoir Assn, has made regular payments and finished paying off the loan last year. Mrs. Kimmell was one of several PTA leaders and members attending the Utah PTA convention here at Sky View High School. The first stage of te project will be a nationwide letterwriting campaign this summer.
