Show COUNTY COMMISSION i IN RECULAR SESSION1 Upon request of Wm. MeKenzie, county bee inspector, following were appointed deputv bee inspectors for various districts: Jedediah Knight, Cleveland, Desert Dake, and Lawrence; George E. Williams, Emery, and Rochester; Ro-chester; J. W. Behling deputy inspector-general for county. The above appointments ap-pointments being made on the condition condi-tion that the county bee inspector be held responsible for their official acts. Harry L. Chapman appointed deputy clerk. M. L. Snow having notified commissioners commiss-ioners of inability to act as registry a-gent a-gent Cleveland precinct, John P. John son was duly appointed in his stead for the ensuing two years. Bond of E. J. Cook as abstractor for Green River was approved. Schools 603 2030 Sneriff 803 4003 Surveyor 50 5 00 Constable andJuitice of Peace 503 The followi lg levies for 1912 were made: County General 5 mills County School . 3 mills County Bond ?4mills County Bond Sinking mills County Poor mills The following resolution was adopted ! by the commissioners: I "Upon investigation it is found that ! the property as assessed by the Btate board of equalization is not, in the estimate esti-mate of the commission, in proportion to the cash value of said property; that ' ihe property is that has been assessed by the county assessor. "We the Commissioners of Emery County feel, that in justice to the tax payers of Emery County, the property of Emery County as assessed by the County assessor should be lowered in valuation or the property as assessed by the state board of equalization should I be raised, so the assessed valuation will I be somewhere even in proportion to the i land value. "We also feel that this matter should be investigated, aud we hereby authorize author-ize J. H. Killpack, County assessor, U. E. Curtis, County attorney and C. T. Bowen, Clerk of the board of county commissioners, a committee of three to investigate this assessment and if possible pos-sible get the assessed valuation of Emery Em-ery County as assessed by the County assessor, lowered, or the property as assessed by the state board of equalization, equali-zation, raised; so that the assessment on both of these will be of an equal proportion of their true cash value. "The said committee is hereby instructed in-structed to meet with the state board o'f t qualiz ition in order that this matter rr.ay be adjusted properly if possible." A levy of 4 mills on sheep and goats and 2 mills on horses and cattle was made. Matter of levying tax on the precincts for state road purposes laid over to next regular meeting.
