Show Weaning Pigs. Before the pig is taken away from its mother to be weaned, it should have the eating habit well developed. It should be developed so well that, taking away the mother will not interfere in-terfere in the least with the pig's growth. Of course a. pig knows well enough when his mother is gone, and he cannot nurse but must get his feed in his trough. It is a fact that when they know how to eat. and are fed regularly, taking the mother away will annoy the pigs for about one day, and the trouble is all over. |
