Show B. Y. U. SCHOOL YEAR TO BE SHORTER At a meeting of the Brigham Young university board of trustees, held Wednesday Wed-nesday evening, it was decided to begin be-gin the next school year October 9, and close May 31. This cuts down the school year one month from its previous length; but it is the intention to have it contain as many days of study as" in the past, by working eleven Saturdays during the year, and cutting down the Christmas vacation. There will, however, how-ever, be an additional vacation, this year, Thanksgiving week, when the Church teachers' institute will be held the same time as the state teachers' i institute, i i |
