Show na. i Next Friday, from 2 to 11 o'clock p.m. , COMMISSIONERS MEETING I County commissioners met last Monday Mon-day and Tuesday in regular eession. Oliver T. Harmon, probation officer for 7th district, came before the board in the interests of getting expenses of Slid probation officer paid by county. Expenses were allowed. H Representative citizens from Ferron n and Emery school districts came before the board relative to the estab!ishm&nt of a schojl at Rochester. Decided that Ferron and Emery shall jointly main- I tain a school at Rochester until such i time as county can be re-districted and a school district established tt Rochester. Rochest-er. ! Geo. M. Miller of Huntington came ! before the board in interests of Hunt-I Hunt-I ington school district, relative to get-i get-i tint? additional valuation for Huntington school district. Matter was discussed and laid over until Dec. 8th (later postponed post-poned to Dec. 21st). Telephone communication from E. R. Morgan, state road engineer, requesting county auditor to go to Salt Lake to help check up the Mounds bridge ac- j count, taking all claims that are p-.ud and not paid, was reported to board and said auditor instructed to make said J t-p as soon as possible and on return j all claims not allowed which aro a proper prop-er charge will be allowed by commission. Application of E. J. Franks to conduct con-duct general merchandise store at Mohrland, laid over until next regular meeting. Bid of Peacock and Ryan for repairing repair-ing and painting court houee rejected for reason the weather is too cold for a good job of work to be done. Subsequent to call for county officials i to attend Tax convention at Salt Lake city, Dec. 17th and 18th, it was decided that all officials, both incumbent and elect, be uri;ed to attend and at their own expense, and the holdover county commissioner, Peter Nielson, attend at expense of county.
