Show A JOINT RESOUWION PROPOSING AN A-MENDMLNT A-MENDMLNT TO SECTION 9. ARTICLE VI. OP TilK CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF UTAH. RELATING TO THE COMPENSATION COMPENSA-TION OF THE MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATURE. LEGIS-LATURE. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Utah, tvo-thirda of all the 'jiembers elected to j each of the two hou:;es concurring therein: I Section 1. That it is proposed to amend Section 9. Article VI. of the Constitution of Utah, so that the same will read as follows: 9. Until otherwise provid.-d by law. the members mem-bers of the Legislature shall receive Eijchr. dollars ' (Sfi.OOl per day and ten cents per mile for the dis- tance necessarily ti-avelc-d i-oing-to and returning ! from the piace of meeting on the most usual. route, andishail receive no other pay or per-juisite. Sec. 2. The Secretary of State is hereby directed direct-ed to submit this proposed amendment to the e-leetors e-leetors of the State at the next general election in the manner provided by law. i Section :l.
