Show P E R RON We are having a real hot time here. Last Friday afternoon Sophus Nelson's corral and hay stacks burned to the ground. Nothing was saved. There were sixty tons of hay and one good wagon lost. He finished threshing that forenoon, and that is all ha saved from the flames. A little boy playiug steam thresher was the cause ot the fire. The young ladies gave a party Thursday Thurs-day night in honor of the retiring presidency. Tokens of respect were given each member. Games were played and a good time was enjoved by all. Will Hanson is home from Price, where he has been employed the last two months. Last Friday evening Margret Barkley entertained a number of her friends at a Navajo party. Every one dressed in Navajo garb and a large camp fire was built outside. Indian stories were told, war cries were heard and a general good time had. John Bryan was chief. Mrs. Jesse Killpack has a fine baby boy born on the 11th. All doing well. Clell Pettey is home on a short visit. He leaves for the U. of U. Thursday, where he will pursue his course of college col-lege work. LaVern Lloyd of Price is visiting, with parents and friends. Mrs. Diantha Larson left this week for Idaho where she will visit relatives and friends. |
