Plans for Vanguard and Seoul Court of Honor activities were discussed at meetings of the commissioners and Vanguard the Court of Honor committee of the Cache Valley Boy Scut council Sunday afternoon. The Vanguard session was held at 12 noon and the Honor court assembly at 3 p. m- at scout headquarters. Lorin Richards, president of the Logan Archery club, was named Vanguard field commissioner of the council for Archery program activity. He suggested the appointment of a deputy field commissioner in each district to aid him in carrying on the work. Dial of the Logan Teachers association will conduct Archery work in Cache district, assisting District Vanguard Commissioner E. N. Reese. Reed W. Bailey of the Utah State Agricultural college faculty discussed astronomy, which is the Vanguard project in scouting for January. in Still higher standards scouting in the Cache council are needed with respect to court of honor activity. This was the consensus of opinion of the Court of Honor committeemen assembled Sunday afternoon. Responsibility of a court of honor group were considered. Plans for development and of the further strengthening council court of honor program were gone over. Chairman R- - J. Becraft of the council Honor Scout Court committee and Executive Preston W. Pond were instructed to draw up the plans for presentation again to the committee at a later date, Others present were Attorney A. W. Hart, Preston; C. C. Peterson, Hyrum; and Supt. J.
