| Show RESERVE GRAZING FEE MAY BE ABOLISHED colorado stockmen confer with government officials A dispatch from washington D dated october 5 1905 wag as follows after a length conference ot secretary wilson of the depart of agriculture and gifford pin achot head of the bureau of forestry with hon eugene grubb of the color ado board of agriculture secretary wil son and mr pinchot have agreed to modify the present regulations regard ing grazing on the reserves the former rules were to charge from 20 to 60 bents per head for stock which was pastured upon the reserves but the new modifications of the orders are that each cattle owner will be allowed to graze bead of cattle upon the rescues frea of charge but or all cattle that nu n ber the must py p y a fee not to exceed 10 cents per head mr grubb agreed to this rule but it is believed by him that this charge will eventually be elim mated entirely |
