I know you would want to profit by the mistakes I have made, so, I have listed these pearls. ?. Just because a guy is big and tall doesn't mean he will rebound --Example: Ostertag Most high school halls are full of guys over six foot five who can't play a ; lick of basketball, ; If you cannot run the football you " cannot pass it either. Most talk show hosts never played the game and if they did, it was either in gym class car at the fresh- ' man level. j ", and tackling Blocking will win most football v games. Trying to win without those two methods will usually get you beat. , . The officials will f decide the winner of more basketball games than any hot shooting five you can come up with. . , ,, Every few years some scientist will tell yob that a baseball doesn't curve, but ' he will never convince all of the two hundred hitters. Attendances at games will pretty much depend cm winning, but the num- ; bers might grow if htey would improve the quality of the peanuts. , . You can tell when you're too old to play, when the pregame butterflies act a lot like moths. Booster clubs are not a good idea. Every mother Who works in the snackbar thinks her son should pitch and bat fourth. A lot of parent groups that start out as booste clubs turn mto terrorist groups.
