He calls his make believe world, the Middle Earth where Frodo lives with quite an assortment of other characters. Frodo is a Hobbit. Hobbits are shorter than men and love the comfortable life. Frodo is bequeathed a ' ring of great power, by his adopted mentor, Bilbo Baggins. This ring holds the future of all that live in Middle Earth. He is joined on his quest by two men, three hobbits, an elf, a wizard, and a dwarf. The wild ride of their adventures is brilliantly scripted by Tolkien. Both of these great books were fantastically brought to life, so that all can enjoy them on the screen. The directors paid great attention to what made these books glorious, their incredible characters dreamed up in the authoris minds.
