The varsity Pirates improved to 2 - 4 and the overall record climbed to 4 - 5. Cyprus built an insurmountable 33-- 9 halftime lead and solidly shutout Woods Cross during the entire second half to win going The invading away 46-- 9 Pirates offense scored 5 first ' half touchdowns and 2 second half touchdowns in the win. Following 20 points scored in the first quarter, Cyprus had performances in the second and fourth quarters. Meanwhile, the Cyprus stone wll defense snared 2 Wildcats passes and recovered a fumble, setting up 2 touchdowns off the 3 turnovers. The dominating Pirates defense allowed a desperation touchdown pass and a single field goal in the first-ha- lf action.
