Goble has recently Myrtle Rushton Turns 90 Years Old Her birth name was Myrtle Lucy Park, but shes been known as Tine Rushton for the past 72 years. Tine was bom on April 4, 1910 in Riverton, Utah to Lucy Emiline Bills and Joseph Park. She was their first girl, following three older brothers. Joe Park called his new baby daughter Tiny. She was so small that a cradle was made out of a large shoe box for her to sleep in. The name of Tine has snick with her all of her life. The year she was born, 1910, bread was 5 cents a loaf, milk 25 cents a gallon, and gas for cars was a whopping 9 cents a gallon. With lots of help from a large and loving family, she is still able to live in her own home. She says that running out of energy and forgetting where she put things is the worst thing about getting old. Some of her favorite memories are a lifetime of picnics, camping trips, deer hunting, traveling to 28 different states and other countries, and being on a bowling tarn for 20 years.
