People like to know that you are genuinely interested in what they have read, thought, or done. By sincere interest in their conversation, you will not only learn new facts, you will also create much good will toward yourself. Keep this same learning, understanding attitude when you read a magazine or book. What you cannot learn by direct experience or from your conversation with others, you can often learn from your reading. 4. Learn to work cooperatively. Your own habits of work may be different from the habits of others in your shop, office, school, or club, but if you adjust yourself to the working rhythm of the group, you will be happier in the end.
