Show MONDAY, DECEMBER 11, 1922 THE PROVO POST . AT THE THEATERS The Strand The Columbia 2 COLLEEN MOORE, CULLEN LANDIS, IN STAR ROLES WHITE When Mary Lerner, one of the most popular of American novelists, wrote her story. Forsaking All Others, she took up1 one of the greatest of our modern problems in a modern way. A lot of nonsense has been written about the mystic power of the flapper to enslave mens hearts. As a matter of fact she hasnt a Chinamans qhance beside the covetous married woman. The clash between the two is the fundamental situation in the Lerner story which the Universal has filmed and which is coming to the Columbia theater next Wednesday. The poignant climax of the play comes when the broken-hearte- d girl is asked to save the man who left her, from her rivals enraged husband. Bitterly, she refuses. The surprising climax of the story solves a big problem in dramatic fashion. There is no actress appearing on the screen today who is more typical wholesomeof the bubbling-with-lifly average American girl than Coleen Moore. Cullen Landis has become known for his characterizations of the type of youth who might be such a girls brother, as her sweetheart.
