At last weeks meeting of Magna Water and Sewer District officials, trustees presented a rate and a budget increase, saying their budget proposal is in line with other districts of Salt Lake City. Minimum water charges were raised from S4.30 for 10,000 gallons to $4.30 for 8,000 gallons. Additional water charges were raised from 23 cents per thousand to 30 cents per thousand.
