She was a great example of compassion and love to us all. She will be missed deeply and always in our hearts. Survivors include her daughter Doreen Lamb of Fredonia, Arizona; brothers Lowell Ford of Fredonia, and Miles Ford of Springtown, Texas; sister-in-laJenoice Ford of Salt Lake City; George Washington Curtis. Grace lived most of her life in Arco, Idaho. and-worke- the Provo Valley area. She worked as a N urses Aide in various rest homes for over 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting and embroidering quilts, and also loved music and ballroom dancing. She was a private person who enjoyed spending time walking alone or playing solitaire. She was bom April 18, 1908 in Kanab to Florence Button and William Alford Ford. She married Leo Becker on May in Kanab. Chief among Devotas interests and passions were her 13 brothers and sisters she helped raise when she was younger. She loved dancing, picnics, family outings, stuffed animals, flowers, Disneyland, crochet, and embroidery work. Many family members and Friends have doilies, pillowcases, scarfs, and other fine examples of Devotas handiwork that she loved to do. She loved the Utah Jazz, calling Karl Malone my hero. She loved to eat, especially Tootsie Rolls, which she referred to as those Brown Logs. After her retirement from the U.S. Forest Service at the age of 65, she spent time traveling, visiting her daughter Doreen in Las Vegas 17, 1937 and her grandchildren Shawna and Perry in San Diego. Gracie Curtis touched the hearts of everyone who knew her and were a part of her care in the Kane County Skilled Nursing Unit. What an amazing lady! To care for her was like touching the Savior. She had become so fragile; yet a certain strength radiated from that spunky little spirit. From all of us who were so fortunate to be a part of your care, 4 l . we love you Gracie.
