On Tuesday evening, a very tall, talented Page team came to town, featuring 69" junior Matt Harvlasy and 66" senior Adam Griffin. After falling behind by 16 points by halflime, the Cowboys actually out scored the taller Sand Devils by two in the second half. But they jost dug too big of a hole to climb out of, losing by 14, 57-4- 3. After a pretty even opening quarter, which saw the Sand Devils holding a one point lead, 15-1the second quarter was all Page. They outscored Kanab 20-- 5 to take a commanding 35-1- 9 advantage at the break. The third quarter was pretty even with Page gaining one more point, to lead 46-2- 9 heading into the final stanza. The Cowboys outscored the visitors from the east by three, 14-1- 1 to make the final 57-44, 3. Lance Brown and Josh Blasdell tallied 14 points apiece to pace the Cowboy scorers. Browns nine rebounds led the Cowboys in that category. Brown and Dane Glazier each had an OER (Overall Efficiency Rating) of 15 to lead the squad. Blasdells OER was 10.
