By Barbara Pyles Rosa Pace has been the new Postmaster at the Kanab Post Office since December when she replaced Randy Stevens who was promoted and moved to Pullman, Washington. Pace, a native of Salt Lake City, was selected from a field of candidates. A promotion review board screened and interviewed all applicants. Pace was thrilled when notified that she was the final selection. Kanabs newest postmaster got her start in the U.S. Postal Service 16 years ago. She started , as a distribution clerk in the Distribution Plant in Salt Lake City. Pace rose steadily through the ranks, from distribution window clerk, to assistant supervisor, then full time carrier supervisor where she served for five years. She came to Kanab from the Murray Branch Post Office where she held the position of carrier supervisor for the last six months.
