Thanks for the support Dear Editor: This letter is written and submitted to the Southern Utah News prior to the 27th of June to meet their deadlines. I feel it important to express appreciation without knowing the results because my feelings will be the same win or lose. To all who supported me in the primary election I thank you. So many of you have gone the extra mile to encourage me and promote my name to others for their vote. 4 Happy 4th of July! being myself. It was a wonderful gesture. I will always remember it. And people Ive met in the Kanab stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc., who have been so friendly and made me welcome. Id particularly like to thank Ken Smith, Todd Gregory and all the men working with them, who have been here long hours each day since I arrived, bailing me out of a difficult situation. They have been toiling to get my home completed as I had dreamed it would be. If there is a harder working man than Ken Smith, I have yet to meet him. He is a true artist at his craft. And Shawn King is doing a great job on some of the other incomplete projects around my home. I have been so impressed with the caliber and work ethic of each of these men. (And, I want to drink whatever water Mr. Smith drinks that enables him to do all the amazing things he does). So, to all my new Kane County Kanab neighbors whom Ive met and those Im looking forward to meeting, I want to give abigHowdy and a Thanks Yall from a former Texan, who is glad to be here.
