By Dixie Brunner In a move leaving many Kanab residents dumbfounded, the local chapter of the People for the USA undertook an April letter writing campaign to protest funding for the Grand Staircase National Monument Headquarters. The move has jeopardized the citys downtown revitalization efforts. The Kanab City Municipal Building Authority had applied for funding from the USDA-Ru-rHousing Services for the proposed visitors center for the GSENM headquarters.
