Kanabs leading scorer was Bobbie Ramsay with 12 points, 10 of them coming in the first quarter. Tasha Larsen snagged seven, while Jamie Hamblin and Amanda Cooper each pitched in of play. The women repeated that 22-- 9 performance in the third to build their lead going into the fourth quarter. The monstrous lead held in the fourth and Kanab picked up their second region win. Amanda Cooper scored 24 points to lead the Cowboy effort. Tasha Larsen popped in 12 and Shelbie Chamberlain added 11. The Cowgirls also played the Millard Eagles last Tuesday. Coincidentally, they will square off against them in the first round of the region tournament also. six. Kanab played Parowan on Thursday, February 10 in their final region contest. The Cowgirls saw what was happening and decided to finish them off with style, with the final score reading Kanab 34-2- 6, 5th and 6th Grade Mystics 23, Liberty 5 Bobbie Sue Ramsay, pictured above from an earlier game this year, led the Cowgirls in their win over Grand last Saturday with 12 points, as Kanab cruised to a 47-2- 1 victory. The Mystics stayed consistent in this game, scoringfour to eight points in every quarter. They were led by Hayle Clark with eight points, and Ali Cooper and Cortni Glover with six points apiece.
