Show SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 17. 1993 Sports Lynx lose state championship game, 42-- 0 runback gave the Wildcats field position on the Fredonia 20 yard line. A pass on their second play from scrimmage put them in the end zone for the score. A quarterback sneak tacked on the conversion and Joe City was up only two minutes into the game. After the Wildcat kickoff, the Lynx started on their own eight yard line and marched 63 yards to where they had a first and goal on the Wildcat nine yard line. But the drive bogged down there and Joe City took over on downs on their own seven. The Wildcats mounted a drive of their own, getting all the way down to the Lynx 14, facinga fourth down and five from there. A fourth down pass play put them in the end zone for their second touchdown.
