The Administrative Control Board of the Western Kane County Special Service District No. 1 intends to increase the fees that it charges for solid waste collection and disposal services in Kane County. This proposed fee increase will affect almost all persons and entities who reside, have property or conduct business in the District. The effective date for the fee increase is January 1 , 2000. The Cedar Mountain fee increase would be reflected on the property tax notices mailed in 1999. All concerned individuals are invited to attend a public hearing on the fee increases to be held on Monday, September 13, 1999 at 7:30 p.m. in the Kane County Commission Chambers, Kane County Court House, 76 North Main Street, Kanab, Utah, for the purpose of hearing comments regarding the proposed increase in the fees and to explain the reasons for the proposed increase.
