The Fredonia girls had a great season. They finished conference play with an 11-- 1 record. After losing a playoff game to St. Michael, they went 0 in the region tournament, and 1 in the state tournament,. They were one of the final four teams in Arizona Class , quite an accomplishment. But, it is still tough to lose when the ultimate prize is within sight. Im sure ail of the Fredonia basketball fans will agree - these girls provided us with lots of thrills and excitement this season. Congratulations to each and every member . . , of the team. , , 3-- 1-- 1-- A, , 8, Valley boys basketball regular season ends By Angie Hoyt The Valley Buffaloes traveled to Wayne County on February 10 hoping to overtake the Wayne Badgers for the number one seed heading into the region tournament.
