However, future expansion is limited. 4) Redo the current hospital site and cut down on the amount of jail beds from 200 to about 160-18Sinclair stated that the building does not meet codes for health care, but does meet codes for office space. 5) Take the current county building and build up. Courtrooms would be on the second floor and the jail portion would be the fifth story. Shulsen recommends focusing on the third option because it would be the least costly. A lengthy discussion of pros and cons for each site took place with no action taken. Commissioners tended to look at options 1 & 2 more favorably even though there is more money involved.
