Seatbelts save lives. We may not like them, and it may be a hassle making the kids buckle up, but it could be the difference between someone's life and a preventable tragedy that ruins many. Accidents do happen-sometimeven when we do everything right, things go wrong. But why not up your odds? Why not insist on your whole family doing the one thing that might maximize their chances of avoiding serious injury or even death? One mother told me that when a spouse or parent dies, you grieve over the loss of a past. But when you lose a child, you lose a part of the future. Isn't your child's future worth insisting on seatbelts? Be smart es and buckle up. Letters to the Editor School days remembered What is your opinion ?
