Double v, r Garduno and Scott Camp::' : Jennifer Shumway and Scott Ca and Kevin Palmer Atssm 'rc - b r Many local golfers may not be aware of the unique pass policy that has been available from the start at the Coral Cliffs Golf Course; 30 play passes are available for $120. These may be purchased on an individual or family basis and bring the cost of a nine-holround from $6 down to 'Travfcrs I:, e rt-- . v $1. Senior citizens (60 and over) may purchase the same pass for $105, making their price $3.50. Almost every local family will play 30 times a year among the immediate family members, so its a great way to give Kanab area residents a break on green fees. But thats not all! For the very avid golfer the price can go down even more. In fact, the more you play, the less you pay! If you buy a pass for $120 as an individual (instead of as a family) your next 30 play pass will be $105. (The family passes which are transferable among immediate family members do not go down in price.) Your second 30 nine hole rounds cost you $3.50 each and the average price of your first 60 rounds will have been $3.75. Each successive pass you purchase within the same calendar year drops in price by $15 until you hit $60 dollars at which point the price holds constant. If you purchase five passes, you will have paid $450 for 150 nine-holrounds of golf - $3 per round. Where else can you enjov recreation and scenery like this for $1.50 per hour? Senior citizens who wish to take advantage of the individual decreasing price program do even better. Since they enter the process on the second or $105 step, they reach the $60 floor after four passes. They will have spent $330 per 120 rounds of golf or only $2.75. per nine-holround. Both groups will on keep paying the $60 rate at this point for each subsequent thirty-plapass (only $2 per round) until the calendar year is up, at which point they can begin the process all over again. We have a golf course here in Kanab that is viewed as a genuine round bv bargain at $6 per nine-holthe golf travelers who come through to play it. Wed better not tell em what we can play it for! . Grafe. The new entrance booth will be located adjacent to the existing booth and when both stations are in operation during the busy summer season, traffic should flow smoothly and quickly through the south entrance, said Grafe.
