It was all planned and executed by the ladies of our chorus. They spent a great deal of time and thought in the planning and they brought us a nice sum of money to help with our building. It was absolutely great and they deserve a lot of credit and thanks for their efforts. We really appreciate it, ladies! On May 7th, which what they have to say. Im sure you will learn something. Then on the 12th, also at noon, Barry Findlay will be back to test hearing and tell you if. you need help in that jine. Barry comes from the Cedar City Hearing Aid Center. Barry usually comes on the first Friday of each month but this month we asked him to come later because of the State program. A short blurp from Anna Deal - Because of a lot of Senior Citizens cooperation, we had a lovely May Day Festival and a lot of fun. If I tried to name all of you that helped, it would take half this paper, so Ill say Thank You all so much and especially the committee. And thanks to all who came and supported us. You are all great! is Friday, we will have a safety program conducted by Julie Ingersoll of the University Extension Service with the help of a man from the state. He will show a short film and then give a short lecture. We can never get too many of these sorts of programs so please come to lunch on that date. On Thursday, May 6, 1982, the K C.R. Ladies Handcraft Group will sponsor the Second Annual Garden Talk at the K.C.R. Firehouse from 1:30 nil -- 4:00. The speaker will be our County Agricultural Agent, Mr. Vem Mathews. The main topic for the meeting will be Drought Resistant Plants and Ground covers for our area, and the use of native plants in planning our gardens.
