We are still looking for the day when it turns warm and stays that way! It will come-may- be this week? Nonetheless, the weather isnt much of a factor in our goings and comings, especially when we can head South where the flowers are blooming. The chilly weather out on the Arizona Strip didnt discourage Vard Heaton from attempting a closer look at one of the ponds. Vard rode his horse out in the pond scouting around, when all of a sudden, his horse sank under the water completely submerged. Vard got his feet wet and his insulated coveralls wet, etc., but he did keep his head above water! Gia Esther Andrus, Heaton's granddaughter, spent a few days in Alton last week.
