From the storage tank, the pipeline runs south below Highway 389 to three branches of drinking troughs between the highway and Nagles Crossing. With the addition of this water, the livestock will utilize the ungrazed natural feed in these areas and help stimulate the plants to produce a more healthy regrowth. The location of drinking troughs, in areas where there has been limited grazing, will give a more even distribution of livestock over the whole reservation.
