Carmel and former head of the Medical Records Department of the Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City, spent a few days in Cedar City helping Mrs, Louise Pierce who now heads that department in catching up on statistical studies and analysis of medical records for the ensuing year. Later on the whole department enjoyed an outing at Woods Ranch. Over 5 years ago, Mrs. Reafsnider reorganized the medical records department of the Valley View Medical center and personally trained all her help in all the small hospitals in Southern Utah. This Included 6 hospitals. Cedar City, Milford, Beaver, Panguitch, Kanab and St. George. Three years ago she retired after spending 30 years in this Held. However, when the need arises, she is still called upon to help out in all phases of the medical records and the medical jurisprudence field. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Merrill and children and guest from Colorado Springs were guests of the C.E. Reafsniders this past weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Elton Sims were visitors and had Sunday breakfast with the C.E. Reafsniders on their way home from visiting Yellowstone National Park and all the National Parks in Utah.
