Yes, a 45 per cent discount is what the citizens of Kane hosCounty will be entitled to toward the purchase of a new pital if we act now'. A recent survey of Utah by the Agency of the Federal Government indicated that the present hospital facilities serving Kane County are inadequate; therefore, this Agency will pay 45 per cent of the total cost of a new hospital, the funds for which are presently available.. funds are being actively sought by a number of communities in the State of Utah at this very time, and we, the residents of Kane County, may not always be in the favorable position for obtaining help that we now find ourselves in. However, because the Kane County Hospital is so far removed from the metropolitan area and must serve a large segment of Southern Utah in the vital matters of public health, the n Agency has listed Kane Counts as top priority in obtaining these funds. We believe that everyone in Kane County should give this matter a lot of thought and act promptly, before the funds are dispersed to other less needy common ities. Vote yes in the coming election. A new hospital can be constructed in Kane County at very little cost to local residents at the present time, and would add a great deal to the economy and health benefits of our county.
