Viewmonts first brought five batters to face off with the Spanish Fork All the pitcher, Shepard. The starting pitcher for the Vikings was Tony Mitchell The first play of the game, Sanford, from Spanish Fork, popped a fly ball out to Cole Viewmont shortstop at-b- at base One runner was brought m by a nice hit from Brenden Schlehuber In the top of the third, with the score still in favor of Viewmont, Spanish Fork's shortstop, Degraw, knocked one over the fence, bringing in two runs In the top of the fourth, Binks did the same for Spanish Fork, bringing in a single run The fifth inning brought a new pitcher for the Vikings, Blake Thompson, but that didn't help Spanish Foik scored four more runs in the next three innings A spark of hope came when Trent Cook knocked in two runs, bringing Viewmont within one during the eighth But it was all over for the hit Vikings when Binks another homerun with one man on during the ninth Viewmont got one final run at the end ol the inning but it wasn't enough to save them, and Spanish Toik won 6 This week's edition of Ask the Sports guy addresses such issues as Shaq and parades.
