Show davIs Church B4 CLIPPER TODAY THURSDAY, DECEMBER 9, 1999 Life Ruth Conrad Von Harten Daniel Howard Ogden Daniel Floward Ogden, age 76, carCLEARFIELD ing husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after an extended illness, Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at the Davis Hospital and Medical Center. He was bom July 15, 1923, in Slaterville, Utah, the son of Joseph H. and Martha Vera Mecham Ogden. He attended school in Weber County, graduating from Weber High School in 1942. He married Joyce Chambers on June 5, 1945, in the Logan LDS Temple. Dan was employed for 3 1 years at Hill Air Force Base. He was Assistant Fire Chief of Clearfield for 10 years. He was involved with Little League Baseball, and the Clearfield JayCees. Dan was an active member of the Clearfield 4th LDS Ward, serving in many organizations and in a variety of positions. He was a worker in the Ogden LDS Temple for 10 years. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, working in his yard, and being with his grandchildren. Fie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years; seven children; Brenda (Bob) Flarrison, Provo; D. Kelly (Marcia), Provo, currently serving as Mission President in Santiago, Chile; Roger (Deborah), Declo, Idaho; Danette (Jon) Carlisle, Frontier, Wyo.; Bruce (Susan), West Point; Bonnie (Rudy) Romero, Taylorsville; Audrie (Craig) Gunn, Perry; 29 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Raymond (Margie), Roy; three sisters: Dolores Rlorma Voyer Dolores Voyer was bom on December 11, 1927 in Fort Dodge , Iowa to Stanley and Agnes Humpal. She lived most of her adult life in Utah and retired to Mesa, AZ in 1988. She moved to the Portland, Oregon area in 1995 where she remained until her death after a long battle with cancer on November 28, 1999 at the age of 71. She is preceded by her husband Joseph Voyer. and grandson Mike Neff. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Tigard, Oregon. She is survived by her daughters, Lorriane Neff, Sherwood, Oregon; Lorrie Barnes, Twentynine Palms, CA; her sisters Romona Jondle, Fort Dodge, Iowa; Janet Harrington, Mesa, AZ; Donna Jones, Perry, Iowa; Linda Fetters, Fort Dodge, Iowa; Margaret Lyons, Fort Dodge, Iowa; her brothers Stanley Hempal Jr., Mesa, AZ; Bill Humpal, Mesa, AZ; Joe Humpal, Mesa, AZ; Gary Humpal, Fort Dodge, Iowa; and four grandchildren. There will be a memorial service for Mrs. Voyer on December 11, 1999 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Mesa, Arizona. Disposition was by cremation. Donations can be given to the American Cancer Society. Rachel Ogden, Elizabeth Green Tali - Elizabeth Green Tall, age 101, passed away Monday, November 29, 1999, at her home in Kaysville, surrounded by her loving fam-ilKAYSVILLE y. Baptist Church offers its annual 'Journey to Bethlehem,' Dec. 9 She was bom January 1, 1898, in Fruit Heights, Utah, the daughter of Robert and Esther Ann Adams Green. She married John Howard Darrohn on January 5, 1924, in Farmington. They were later divorced. She married Earl L. Tall April 13, 1938 in Farmington. He passed away February 17 1973. Elizabeth was a life long resident of Kaysville and Fruit Heights. She attended Davis County Schools and graduated from Davis High School in 1917 She attended LDS Business College. She was a member of the LDS Kaysville 1st Ward, serving 19 years as a Sunday School Teacher and as the Primary and Relief Society Secretary and as a Visiting Teacher. She was the first female employee at the Layton 1st National Bank in 1918, and was a member of the Rotary Ladies. Eagles and American Legion Auxiliaries. She was also a member of the Daughter of Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed her neighbors and loved to write poetry and work in her garden. ! State, from 5 to 7 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
