Early in the game the Darts decided that to win this game they needed a defensive stand against Clearfield. One of the strengths of the Lady Darts has been their depth on the bench and their defensive ability to keep opponents out of scoring position. With this m mind Davis only gave Qearfield three shots on goal in both halves. The Darts only loss this season has been to the Skyline Lady Eagles, so they needed to keep a close hold on the Falcons to keep m the race for the region crown. With performances from the stalwarts Heather McPherson, Lisa Heath and Nicole Iverson, the Darts seemed to have a mission on their minds of making a statement in this game. Early in the game, the Falcons scored their' only goal. This really ticked off Davis as Krystal Stanger stared the Darts' first period scoring fest off with a shot to the Falcons net. This was followed with scores by Lisa Sekulich.then again Stanger. 1 leather Arnell and Mindi Stephens also scored, The second half once again saw the Lady Darts put a defensive stopper on Clearfield as they again limited the Falcons' shots on goal to three.
