McDonald proceeded to ask the volunteers questi.ons such as what their names were and how old they were-all of this while their tongues were stuck out. Using a squeaky toy named "Wonderbird," McDonald fuscinared the participants and made them believe that Wonderbird could do amazing things including enlarging various body parts such as noses, ears and breasts. Although one of the female volunteers loved her enlarged breasts and displayed them proudly, the rest of the women did not like them so Wonderbird took them off and put them on the guys-who bared it even more. Another ofWonderbird's amazing feats entailed making McDonald invisible so only bis shoes and the microphone could be seen by the volunteers. McDonald then picked up one of the spotters and volunteers thought she was flying ~round the stage. Perhaps one of the funniest parts of the show happened · ~ spontaneously when McDonald was bringing the volunteers out of hypnosis. One student sat and acted as though he was fishing. i When McDonald told him that the fish got away everyone else ~ started fishing. "Oh, what the hell! Everyone go fishing!"
