TM Thund«bird is a training ground for journalists and all who wish to worlc within a group and learn a multitu of skills from writing to computers and from decision-malcing to getting along with co-workers from varied backgrounds. U NDER COND-iti ns, our staff members enjoy the luxury of student status, wherein two newspapers per weelc provide realistic experience without the pressure of everyday journalism. We produce the paper on state-of-the-art Macintosh equipment, including Quadras, Powerboolcs, as well as highresolution scanners and 1,200-dpi laser output. For this and many reasons, rving on th.e new: paper can be a useful tool in the growth of any individual, no matter what your major or interest might be. U LTIMATELY, WORK ON THE paper provides staff members with great experience, and a sense . of pride. Reporters and photographers have the opportunity to cover a wide range of campus events and issues and have fun along the way.
