Veronica Gamer-Wilson, executive djrectorofCare and Share, said government cutbacks and other fu tors have created a need for rn r food. Iron County Care and hare is a nonprofit organization that provides a h meless shelter and food pantry for th le fortunate in Iron County. 1bere are three b.ra11che in the county; the edar ity branch serves mo tly residents. Care and hare delivers boxe of food to familie in need three times a week. 11lese families are low-income famille who usuaJJy cannot pay for rent and gr erle . There are 16 beds in the helter, which have been mostly full all swnmer. Peopl who sl ep at th shelter are usually those who chose to pay for groceri instead of rent. uThe more people we help, th fewer there are ·on the treet," Garn r-Wilson ~d- • T.he food pantry will sponsor another food drive pt. 15 at Brian Head R ort. People who brings five cans of food wiU receive a free chair lift pass.
