Concert Choir, an ensemble wh ich includes over 90 members, and Opus, a select 30-member vocal chamber ensemble, will perform at 4 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m . in the Frank A. Thorley Recital Hall of the SUU Music B~din~ . A donation of $3 is suggested for each performance. All proceeds from the traditional Christmas season presentations w ill go to the SUU Music Scholarship Fund. The Concert Choir will open the concert with five numbers from Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's "Magnificat " and close the program with selections from George Frederick Handel's Messiah. A middle section of the concert will feature Opus performing a variety of seasonal music including "Riu, Riu, Chiu," "What Sweeter Music," "Child in a Manger," "White Christmas," and "Deck the Halls. " Bart Shanklin, chairman of the SUU Music Department, will direct both groups in the concert.
