Wayne & Karlyn Canfield have a new son born on Aug. 13. Rick & Gayle Kennedys new daughter arrived on Aug. 14. Brian Fowler Green 11, of Ogden who died on Aug. 15 was to grandson of Mr. & Mrs. Clair Fowler. He had attended Gramercy School, was a member of the Ogden 37th LDS Ward, a Cub Scout and a member of the ward Primary. His parents are William and Bonnie Green. Funeral services on Friday in Ogden with Bishop Carl Walker officiating. Burial in the Ogden City Cemetary. Jean Ganz is at home recuperating from major surgery last Monday. Shelly & Lisa Larsen, Darla Sewell & Valerie Hodson of Clinton were among young people from the Ogden, Salt Lake area enjoying a ten day trip to Hawaii Shelly & Valerie have been roommates while working in Salt Lake City. Shelly & Lisa are daughters of Dr. L Mrs. Larsen. Daughter Linda and a friend Debbie Turner of St. Louis are here between semesters at BYU for two weeks. Mr. L Mrs. Irvin Wallace Si their family of Benicia, Cal. are here visiting with Mr. Wallaces parents Arley & Lorene Wallace. Dan Hammon grandson of Mr. Si Mrs. H G. Hammon & Mr. Si Mrs. Osmer Knight has accepted a mission call to Frankfurt, Germany. Dan has finished his freshman year at The University of Utah and has been attending the summer session at BYU. He is a Boxelder High School graduate and hopes to study medicine when he returns. His parents are Mr. & Mrs. Dee Jay Hammon of Brigham City. Rick Reid with a Masters Degree a CPA was valadictorian of the business college. Douglas received his BA degree. Both have been on missions. They are sons of Mr. & Mrs. Dick Reid of Bountiful. Rick graduated sums cum laude & has been active in track receiving many awards in that field. Mr. & Mrs. George Reid attended church services in West Point on Sunday.
