We encourage people to call our ol fice if they have a recipe they would like to share with our readers. If there is a particular recipe you've been looking for but haven't been able to find, give us a call and well ask our readers to help. Featured this week is a very elegant cake from the kitchen of Mrs. David Heed, 5197 S. 2000 W., Roy. Known as a Red Velvet Cake", the recipe is aptly named because the cake is a delightful red color. It resembles a rich devils food cake in appearance but the similarity ends there. With only a small amount of cocoa in the cake, there is not much moist texture of this cake and the heavenly frosting make it a real treat Because there is a considerable amount of butter in the frosting, it is best to serve the cake as soon as possible or to keep it refrigerated in this hot weather But as Mrs Heed says, "The cake goes so fast, you don't have time to worry aixiut the frosting starting to melt." . paste Add vanilla.
