Thelma Russell joined her mother, a sister, and a sister in law, for a motor trip to Arizona last week where they visited another sister, and enjoyed the warm Arizona sunshine. The mother of Mrs. James Sehoenfeld passed away last week in Granger. The Schoenfeld's son David and his family were returning to their home in New Mexico following the funeral, when they were involved in an automobile accident. Mrs. Scheonfeld has gone to help care for the ROAST DRUMSTICKS with her Kathy Smith and Mrs. Antette McMillen. John 0. Field of Ogden died Feb. 24 in an Ogden hospital of cancer. He had formerly lived in Roy, and was a son of Harold and Hazel Field of Roy. He married Bernice Charlton in 1949 in the Idaho Falls Temple. He had worked at Hill Air Force Base and also at the Field Oil Company. He was a member of the Ogden LDS 54th ward and had worked in the MIA. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles of Ogden and had served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his widow, four children, one grandchild, all of Ogden; his parents of Roy, three brothers and three sisters, including Dari R. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Crouch drove to St. Anthony, Idaho on Saturday to attend the funeral services for Danny Wayne Young, 17, son of Wayne and Donna Young, formerly of Roy. He was found dead by his parents. The Young's moved to Idaho several years ago. Also attending the funeral were former Roy residents, Tom and Glena Lusk, who now live in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Rex and Jose Turner were visiting in the area last weekend. They moved from Roy several years ago and are now living in Boise, Idaho. They visited with Mr. Turners 20 Oz. Dr. Clifford and Elaine Sorensen, who formerly lived in Roy, are the happy parents of a baby boy, born Feb, 22, at McKay Dee Hospital. The Sorensens ere now living in Layton. A baby girl was born Feb. 20 to David and Janice Hoch, of 5622 S. 2450 W. Mrs. Earl Schreck will be the hostess, at her home, on March 9 for Circle 3 of the United Methodist Women of the First United Methodist Church. g viccint gives percent ikshmity.
