Gill Larsen 1st counselor with Bob Browning A great new religious era for the work of God in South America began in Sao Paulo, Brazil March 20 when ground was broken lor the new Sao Paulo Temple of the Latter-da- y The First Southern Baptist CLEARFIELD Church of Clearfield will be celebrating 25 years of service to Clearfield and surrounding areas on Sunday. Special activities for the day will begin with the 11 a.m. evengelistic service and special music presented by the church choir. A noon meal will be served to members and guests followed by a program featuring moments from the past shared by Bernal Graham and Lawrence Cure, charter members of the church. Rev. Darwin Welsh, executive secretary for the Utah-Idah- o Southern Baptist Convention, and Lavoid Robertson, pastor, will be speaking. Exhibits and displays of great moments of the past with pictures of former pastors and church members will be on display throughout the church building. In the twenty-fiv- e years of the churchs existence, it has been instrumental in helping to start Baptist work in Roy, Calvary Baptist Church in Ogden, Layton, and Bountiful. It is at present involved in work at the Spanish Baptist Mission in Layton. Several past members of the church have surrendered to preach, and one couple from the church is now serving in Indonesia as Saints Church. This was the assurance ol Elder James E.
