The announcement is made by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Young, 1056 N. 300 W. Parents of the groom are Dr. Don Carlos Graves and Mrs. Natalie Graves of San Francisco, Calif. The newlyweds were honored at a reception at the Hains House in Ogden following the ceremony. The bride was lovely in a gown of nylon chiffon over taffeta with a modified empire bodice. The yoke was trimmed with Chantilly lace and the long, full sleeves ended with a wide Chantilly lace cutf. The full skirt ended with a double Chantilly lace ruffle. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Steven A. Young, a sister-in-laBridesmaids were Miss Vicki Anne Smith and Miss Ellen Baird. They were attired in gowns of red polyster knit trimmed with white lace around the sweetheart yoke and down the princess lined front. The flowergirl, Mary Lee Russell, wore a red and white dotted Swiss dress with white eyelet yoke. Kendall Jewkes assumed duties of best man with Steven A. Young as usher. The couple will reside in Sunset following a honeymoon trip. v Mr. and Mrs. Rick Andrus Couple trade wedding vows Wedding trip enjoyed by local newlyweds Exchanging voes in the Ogden LDS Temple last Saturday were the former Miss Marilyn Stanger and David K. Smith officiated at the ceremony. The Roy LDS 13th Ward cultural hall was the setting for a reception. The bride received guests in a chiffon over satin empire model gown with long bishop sleeves, round neckline and outlined by a deep ruffle. A deep flounce accented the hemline of the softly draped skirt. Attending her sister as maid of honor was Miss Lurae Stanger with Miss Diane Stanger, Miss Nancy Holt and Miss Marie Green as bridesmaids and Mrs. Ronald M. Bair and Mrs. Mark W. Woodward as attending matrons. Alternately the attendants were in orange and yellow ensembles, flocked with white daisies. Craig L. Buelo, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. Randy Harper, Roonald M. Bair, Mark W. Woodward and Brent E. Buelo assumed duties as ushers. The couple will reside in Ogden after a brief wedding trip. Host cities for the event are Centerville, Farmington and Kaysville with the parade during the festivities of the Davis County Fair, The parade will be held Aug, on Saturday. A reception at the home of the brides parents honored the young couple that same evening. The bride greeted guests in a white polyester-crepfloor length, princess style dress rimmed with wide lace the length of the gown. The long puffed sleeves were trimmed in the same lace. She wore an elbow length veil of bridal illusion trimmed in fine lace and held in place with short cascades of lily of the valley. She carried a bouquet of white mum daisies and yellow rose buds. Her two attendants, Bonnie Flandro and Karan Andrus wore floor length gingham, patchwork gowns. Mrs. Andrus was honored with bridal showers given by Mrs. Darrell (Danette) Alder and Mrs. Randy (Beth Ann) McDonald with a kitchen shower; Miss Bonnie Flandro gave a miscellaneous shower in Logan, with college friends attending; Mrs. Norman (Anna) and Mrs. Bert (Lois) Boyack, aunts of the bride honored her with a miscellaneous shower and Miss Janet Syndergaard gave her a surprise personal shower. guests were Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Sedgwick of Dallas, Tex., brother and Special sister-in-laof the bride. Crisco Vz V shortening c. peanut butter c. light corn syrup lTbl.milk Mix the flour, sugar, soda and salt together. Cut in Crisco and peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add corn syrup and milk, mixing to blend. Roll into 2 log, chill. To bake cookies slice Vs to V4 inch thick and place half of slices on ungreased cookie sheeet.
