The occasion honored the birthday of Mrs. Dahle. The beautifully decorated home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cottle was the setting for the annual Christmas Party of the Knit Wits Club held on Tuesday of last week. A Chinese dinner was served and games played during the evening. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Deb Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Madsen, Mr. and , Mrs. Ed Harris, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Hubbard, Mr. and Mrs Grant Crezee, Mr. and Mrs. Emery Buhler, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Visser, Mr. and f Mrs. James Whinham, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Bott, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Wursten, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Odell, Mrs. Blair Beck, Mrs. Kelly Rees, and Mr. and Mrs. Cottle. It was an exciting time for the Ralph Gibby family on Dec. 7. Their two daughters-in-lagave birth to babies just 15 minutes apart. Douglas and Elaine Gibhy had a baby girl weighing 5 lbs. 7 oz. They , now have three girls and one boy in their family. Robert and Dorothy Gibby had a baby . boy weighing 6 lbs 14 oz. and tl,ey also have three girls and - one boy now. Douglas and his wife live in Brigham City and Robert and his wife in Layton. Elaine Gibbys folks are Mr. - and Mrs. Lee Thompson of Roy. The new mothers shared the same hospital room and : also had the same doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Beck .spent last weekend relaxing at Sun Valley, Idaho. - Jean Godfrey has been released from the hospital after having surgery. She is getting along very well. Jim and Kerma Larsen were in St. George over the weekend. They went to help Kermas father celebrate his birthday. A group of neighborhood friends go together last Saturday afternoon for a Christmas shopping excursion in Sail Lake. They also enjoyed lunch at the Punt Shop Restaurant in Arrow Press Square. Getting in on the fun were Kathie Sheffer, Afton Johnson, Shirley Facer, Gwen Peterson, Judy Skinner, Nancy Richins, Dorothy Nuffer, and Judy Hart. , Dawn Daley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Daley broke her ankle at school last week when she fell from a trampoline.
