Hull Dear God, our great, allwise, eternal Father, Thou who hast made and given us all good gifts, even our very lives, we bow our heads in gra'ttude on this Thanksgiving Day! We gather together with our families and friends to feast and rejoice. But, may we also meditate up,.., the many reasons we have for thanks giving. We are indeed thankful dear Lord, for Thy protecting care, for the magnificent and beautiful world Thou hast created for us, a world of light and shadows, of infinite variety, filled with treasures great and small, with crystal streams and stately mountains, colorful flowers and May we, dear God in heaven, realize "ur utter depend-anc- e upon Thee - for every breath of life, for a glorious home, our own fair land of America, which houses the hopes of the world! Here we -- are so very privileged. Here we may still fashion our own destinies. Here opportunity still abounds. Here we may come and go freely. There is no wall to hem us in, unless we make one ourselves. -- We are grateful for our beautiful land of promise, choice above all other lands, where freedom has beckoned brave men from all around the world to come and share a common destiny. May we remember that our great nation has become great only through Thy help! May we always be so bounW'e teously blessed! ROY THIRTEENTH ROY TENTH WARD Society meeting on Wednesday. Nov. 29 will be the Cultural Refinement meeting. FOURTEENTH WARD The YWMIA Presidency Detta has been was released as Dabling president, with her first counselor, Elaine Child sustained as the new president. Second counselor, Annetta Howell was named as the new first counselor and Susan Stimpson sustained as second ROY counselor. The Relief Society will have their ward conference along with the Social Relations and Mothers Training lesson on Tuesday morning. Ward conference will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25 and 26. ROY STAKE The stake MIA Speech Festival v. ill be held Nov. 21 at the Third-Eight- h ward at 7:30 p.m. Each ward in the stake will be represented on the program and everyone is invited. ROY THIRD WARD There will be no Relief Society meeting on Wednesday morning, but the evening meeting will be held on Tuesday. Lu Ann Heiner and Jackie Hansen have received their five year personal achieve- ment awards.
