Roy Jaycettes reports on activities The members of the Roy Jaycettes have been ROY busy working on a baby quilt that will be given away during Roy Days. Plans are underway for a Weber District steak fry for area Jaycees and Jaycettes. The event on Saturday will feature gam esbeginning at 4 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. It will be held at the Weber Memorial Park. Holmes conducted a short business meeting before Officer Junior Hammon of the Roy City Police Department was introduced as guest speaker for the evening. Mr. Hammon showed a shoplifting and then explained the burden placed on the community asa whole because of the necessity of higher prices to make up the loss to the merchants. The speaker also discussed crime in general and the difficulties encountered in law en forcement because of the loop holes present in prosecuting the criminal.
